Pass the language exam
The language exam will be held online, the link will be sent on 02/13/22 to all people who have expressed their willingness to take the exam in the application form. There are 7 days to complete the test.

Language exam
When you do not need to pass the exam
If you have a language certificate, you are exempt from the exam.
English: First Certificate (FCE); Paper TOEFL from 420 points, computer TOEFL from 187 points and Internet TOEFL from 75 points, LCCI JetSet level 5 B2, LCCI EFB WRITNING and READING parts passed and SPEAKING and LISTENING level 3 and certificates equivalent or higher.
Attention:
Ghent University, Belgium does not accept the following certificates: FCE, CAE, CPE, LCCI
The University of Maribor does not accept an FCE certification older than three years.
French: DELF B2 certificate, DL – Diplome de Langue Francaise – Alliance Francaise and certificates equivalent or higher
Spanish: DELE Intermedio – Diploma de Español como Lengua Extranjera (DELE), Cervantes Institute
German: Zertifikat Deutsch (ZD), Goethe Instytut passed at least with a good result; Zentrale Mittelstufenprüfung (ZMP), Goethe Institute and equivalent or higher certificates.
Italian: CELI3 – Certificazione della Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana or higher and other certificates issued by institutions cooperating with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the field of certificates (CILS Due B2 and PLIDA B2)
What the exam looks like?
The exam is conducted in: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian.
It is free for students who participate in the recrutment.
The invitation to the test is sent to the candidate by e-mail.
The test is completely online and takes 30 minutes. The student’s identity is verified during the exam. The test checks your listening, reading and writing skills. The results and the certificate will be sent within 14 days from the end of the test.
The test is rated on the CEFR scale from A1 to C2. Students who achieve the minimum language level required by the partner universities (B1 or B2) are qualified for the mobility.
Recruitment results
After the results of the foreign language examinations, the list of students qualified for the mobility is passed to the faculty.
Each Faculty has its own student selection system aimed at selecting the best people to participate in the ERASMUS+ programme. The faculty determines which student is assigned to which university, the final list with assignments is sent to IRO. Candidates are informed by IRO of the allocation of a place in the partner university.

what's next?
nominations
IRO employees send nominations to partner universities, the universities decide whether the student will be admitted. If this happens, the university sends the student confirmation of admission and further information on formalities before arrival. After receiving the confirmation of acceptance, the student must send it to IRO.

After qualifying for a given university, the student must complete, then submit for signature to the vice-dean for didactics from his faculty and then send to IRO:

After sending the confirmation of acceptance, we send the departure application and information about co-financing the trip.
Erasmus + grant is recalculated on the basis of the submitted application form.
Before the mobility
agreement
A personally signed contract is a precondition for departure. Without a signed contract, the student will not receive Erasmus grant.
co-financing of tickets
After signing the departure application, IRO provides information on the terms and conditions of co-financing the trip. Tickets must be purchased in accordance with the guidelines provided by IRO.
