    Description of the group of people / recipients to whom the postgraduate studies are dedicated:

    Postgraduate studies Energy-efficient construction, energy audit and energy assessment of buildings are studies designed for people interested in designing buildings with low energy demand, who want to prepare energy characteristics of buildings, energy audit or want to use the acquired knowledge in designing buildings based on BIM technology.

    The concept of education at postgraduate studies is aimed at extending and consolidating knowledge in the field of energy-saving construction, energy audits, preparation of energy performance certificates for buildings. The acquired knowledge will be helpful in fulfilling official duties and will raise the qualifications of employees working in project offices, because after completing postgraduate studies, students can independently perform energy assessment and energy characteristics of buildings. The recipients and addressees of the studies are design offices, people involved in the design or construction of energy-efficient buildings, as well as people who want to deepen their knowledge related to the energy efficiency of existing buildings, building diagnostics.

    Required prior qualifications:

    Postgraduate students can be people with a diploma of higher education, at least the first degree, such as: architecture, construction, environmental engineering, energy, renewable energy technologies and second degree studies in any specialization of technical sciences.

    A short description of postgraduate studies

    The concept of postgraduate education includes subjects that will enable the performance of tasks such as the design of energy-efficient buildings: building physics, energy audit, legal bases in the field of energy assessment and design of low-energy buildings, general construction, renewable energy, energy-saving and passive construction, modern construction materials and products used in energy-efficient construction, measurement techniques, thermovision and leak testing of building partitions, assessment of lighting systems in the building, assessment of ventilation and air-conditioning systems, heating systems and hot water in buildings with low energy consumption, solid and liquid fuel boilers and gas, heating systems, methodology for determining the energy performance of a building and residential premises, which is necessary for the independent performance of energy assessment of buildings and in the design of energy-efficient buildings.

    The aim of the studies is to prepare graduates to independently prepare the energy performance of buildings, certificates of energy performance of buildings, assess the efficiency of energy use in buildings, design buildings in terms of optimal energy use (useful in BIM technology), develop an energy audit of buildings, which is necessary in the design of thermal modernization buildings. Postgraduate studies in Energy-efficient construction, energy audit and energy assessment of buildings allow for comprehensive expansion of theoretical and practical knowledge useful in the design and construction of energy-efficient, passive or zero-energy buildings.

    The basis for the preparation of the study program are:

    • Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of January 21, 2008. Coll. Journal of Laws No. 17 – item 104, as amended.
    • Directive 2002/91 / EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 December 2002

    In 2010, the Study Program was positively assessed and approved by the Ministry of Infrastructure (currently the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development), therefore, after completing postgraduate studies, a graduate may apply after registration by the minister responsible for construction, spatial management and housing, for a license number, and under the law will be a person authorized to perform, independently or in a team, the energy performance of buildings, apartments or parts of a building constituting an independent technical and operational part and energy audits of buildings.

    In 2010, the Study Program was positively assessed and approved by the Ministry of Infrastructure (currently the Ministry of Infrastructure and Development), therefore, after completing postgraduate studies, a graduate may apply after registration by the minister responsible for construction, spatial management and housing, for a license number, and under the law will be a person authorized to perform, independently or in a team, the energy performance of buildings, apartments or parts of a building constituting an independent technical and operational part and energy audits of buildings.

    After completing postgraduate studies, the graduate has the knowledge, skills and social competences necessary for independent decision-making, designing energy-saving facilities, preparing energy performance certificates, and energy audit. In addition, as part of the subject “Computer-aided design” and “Implementation of a training energy certificate for a building and a flat”, students receive a certificate of completion of the service and use course of the Audytor OZC program by Sankom.

    Conditions and recruitment procedure for postgraduate studies:

    The minimum number of people for which postgraduate studies are launched is: 10 people. Maximum number of places: 30

    Recruitment of candidates for studies is open and takes place on the basis of the order of applications, submission of complete documents and payment of the entire tuition fee or the first semester of study. Required documents:

    1. application for admission to postgraduate studies,
    2. personal survey,
    3. a copy or a copy of the graduation diploma entitling to undertake postgraduate studies certified by the university. In the case of graduating from university abroad, the candidate submits the original of the diploma and its translation into Polish, certified by authorized institutions, as well as a document confirming the recognition of the diploma or a certificate of exemption from the recognition procedure,
    4. timely payment of the fee for the first semester of studies.

    The recruitment is completed at least 1 week before the start of the semester in which the studies are launched.

    Characteristics of studies:

    Postgraduate studies are addressed to the professional staff with higher education who want to improve their qualifications by expanding theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of geotechnical design according to the principles given in Eurocode 7. Post-graduate studies are intended mainly for graduates of construction engineering
    and environmental engineering.

    The subjects of the studies include the following thematic blocks:

    • Legal basis of geotechnical design
    • Methodology and interpretation of laboratory and field tests;
    • Selection of parameters and geotechnical calculations;
    • Geotechnical design of spread foundations;
    • Geotechnical design of pile foundations;
    • Geotechnical design of retaining structures;
    • Geotechnical design of embankments and excavations;
    • Assessment of the safety of buildings and their impact on the environment;
    • Diploma seminars.

    The studies will last 2 semesters with an inter-semester break. Classes will be conducted in the form of lectures, laboratory and field exercises as well as computational exercises and diploma seminars. A total of 182 hours of classes are planned, which will be carried out as part of 13 Saturday-Sunday meetings. The participants, after passing the tests at the end of the semesters, submitting their diploma thesis and passing the exam, will receive a certificate of completion of postgraduate studies. It is planned to create two exercise groups:

    Group G1 – laboratory and field tests, selection of parameters and geotechnical calculations

    G2 Group – geotechnical design in road and railway construction.

    Description of the target group to which the postgraduate studies are directed

    The proposed postgraduate studies are aimed at people participating in the process of designing a family headquarters, to all those who participate in this process as designers or contractors or otherwise want to expand their knowledge of creating a garden. They are addressed to architects and interior architects, gardeners, nurserymen and employees of companies offering a garden assortment as well as designing garden surfaces. The studies are aimed at people who, professionally or as a hobby, are interested in developing knowledge, competences and skills in the field of garden art and home garden design.

    Prior qualifications required

    The studies are intended for university graduates of various faculties. A candidate for studies may be any person who has completed at least the first cycle.

    A short description of the studies

    Postgraduate studies in “Designing a garden with a family house” last two semesters. As part of the lectures, knowledge is transferred, thanks to which students learn the principles related to many aspects of garden design. As part of the study and field exercises, students practice the learned principles so that they can design and be ready to design on their own.

    Classes are conducted by lecturers from the Department of Landscape Art and practitioners of architects, landscape architects and interior designers.

    The study program covers issues related to shaping the immediate surroundings of a person and family, a garden in the inhabited space. The participants of the studies will get to know the family garden as a coherent, functional and aesthetic space filled with a composition of ornamental and utility plants and elements of small architecture. They understand that family gardens, equipped with elements of small architecture, plants and artifacts, arise in a close relationship
    with the architecture of the house and its interior, as well as references to the landscape and environment in which they are created. Students learn about garden plants and understand the necessity of considering environmental conditions. They broaden their knowledge of aspects of the protection of natural and cultural values. Participants will learn the principles of designing garden forms consistent with the architecture and interior, the socio-cultural background of the genesis and transformations of the family garden, the issues of restoration and recomposition of old gardens. Participants learn and understand the ethical and legal principles of running a design office and using software that enables design. Participants have landscape analysis skills. They can use the acquired knowledge to solve spatial problems. Participants know and are able to apply knowledge in the field of plant and material science in projects, they can create a cost estimate for the project. Practical classes include field work with the establishment and maintenance of garden art objects or an internship in a design office.

    The recruitment of candidates for studies is two-stage. In the first stage, the candidate sends a cover letter, and in the second stage, the candidates are invited to an interview.

    Characteristic:

    Studies addressed to “first contact” veterinarians working in clinics for dogs and cats for at least 2 years. Their goal is to provide the latest knowledge on identifying and combating the most common health problems of these animal species. Classes (at least 240 hours in total) are held in the form of Saturday-Sunday meetings (16 hours each), generally 2 – 3 sessions per semester. In addition, the program includes 160 hours of practical internships in university clinics and private clinics. Completion of studies entitles to take a specialization examination before the Veterinary Doctors Specialization Commission.

    Characteristic:

    1. Purpose and scope of studies

    The aim of the studies is to systematize and expand knowledge and acquire skills in the field of broadly understood issues of managing the communication infrastructure of internal roads. In the scope of studies, it is planned to present the legal issues of managing internal roads and organizing investment and maintenance works related to roads. The scope of the discussed issues:

    • Planning of spatial systems of forest road networks.
    • Road infrastructure – legal basis.
    • Elements of road documentation.
    • Road manager as a works investor.
    • Road infrastructure management.
    • Technologies and materials in road construction.

    The studies are intended for people involved in the management of internal roads (managers or owners), in particular the management staff and internal control inspectors of the State Forests National Forest Holding. The studies can also expand the knowledge of local administration in the aspect of considering proceedings regarding forest roads. The formal requirement is to have a university graduation diploma, at least the first degree (engineering degree).

    Classes in the form of lectures, chamber and field exercises will be conducted by lecturers from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, the Institute of Roads and Bridges in Warsaw and specialists-practitioners from PGL LP and designers cooperating with internal road administrators.

    Characteristics of studies:

    Postgraduate studies “Tourism and forestry education in non-urbanized areas” are intended for graduates of bachelor’s, engineering and master’s studies in any scientific discipline.
    The study program provides for the improvement of professional qualifications, broadening the knowledge and acquiring additional skills in the field of tourism and recreational use of non-urbanized areas.

    The program covers the following topics:

    • economic management of the forest and its tourist and recreational availability;
    • tourism, recreation and spatial management;
    • safety and law in making the forest available for tourism and recreation;
    • directions of development of tourism, recreation and forest education in Europe and in the world;
    • tourist and recreational infrastructure in non-urbanized areas and in urban forests;
    • social conditions for the development of tourism, recreation and education in forests;
    • social communication techniques;
    • economic aspects of tourism development, recreation and forest education;
    • tourism, recreation and forest education versus nature and landscape protection.

    Classes are conducted by employees of the Faculty of Forestry of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, specialists in forest management, forest education, public finance, environmental protection and decision-making offices of state administration.

    The condition for obtaining a certificate of completion of postgraduate studies is obtaining credits in all subjects (in accordance with the study program) and obtaining a positive grade for the final exam.

    Characteristic:
    The studies are intended for graduates of various fields of study, interested in the use of ornamental plants both in private space (apartment, home garden) and in public space (workplace, office buildings, green areas) due to their aesthetic values and health-promoting effect to improve quality life. Classes include 280 hours of classes – 90 hours of lectures, 90 hours of practice and 100 hours of practical classes. Two-day meetings are held once a month from March this year to February of the following year (summer holiday break). During the theoretical classes, students will learn about plant material and the principles of interior decoration, creating plant compositions (from potted, cut and permanent plants) and planting seasonal flower beds, flower beds and various types of containers (balconies, terraces, patios, greenery, roof gardens) with the use of perennials and ornamental trees and shrubs. As part of the exercises and practice, students make design assumptions for seasonal flowerbeds, perennial beds and interior decorations; they visit wholesalers and points of sale of plants, nurseries of perennials and ornamental shrubs; learn about plants in educational collections.

    Arrangement of plants in the usable space

    Subjects and issues carried out in the form of lectures and exercises:

    1. The influence of plants on the quality of life (covers the following topics: social
      and the therapeutic role of gardening, garden therapy, elements of environmental psychology, arranging gardens adapted to the needs of disabled people) (15 hours of lectures)
    2. The use of plants for interior decoration (issues: arrangement rules and plant arrangements in residential interiors, forms of displaying plants in interiors, review of species and requirements and care of potted plants, interior plant decorations – the latest trends, winter gardens – arrangement and selection of plants. Sightseeing: greenhouse collections, florist, flower market, office building) (20 hours of lectures + 30 hours of exercises)
    3. Selection and arrangement of plants in the garden (issues: types of gardens and garden styles, review of species and varieties of perennial herbaceous plants, cultivation requirements of garden plants, care and protection against diseases and pests, the use of herbaceous and woody plants in the garden (flowerbeds, alpine plants, gardens
      and rock walls, gardens and ponds, moorland gardens, naturalistic gardens, the use of trees, shrubs and creepers in the garden. Sightseeing: collections, Botanical Garden, nurseries of ornamental shrubs) (30 hours of lectures + 30 hours of exercises)
    4. Principles of designing and composing plant arrangements (issues: compositional principles of plant selection, basic principles of planting plan implementation, designing with the use of techniques and computer programs) (10 hours of lectures + 15 hours of exercises)
    5. Plants in urban space (issues: functions of vegetation in the city, review of plant species and varieties used in urban greenery, forms of plant use in urban space, seasonal flowerbeds, “green roofs”) (10 hours of lectures + 10 hours of exercises)
    6. Diploma seminar (issues: presentation of own, correct solutions for plant arrangements in gardens or public interiors, preparation for the implementation of final projects) (10 hours of exercise)

    Passing:

    1. Written exam (test form)

    2. Thesis: development of assumptions for the design of a selected planting.

    Classes during the 9th edition of the studies will be held from October 2019 to June 2020, in a series of 12 Saturday-Sunday meetings. Candidates should have a university degree (bachelor’s, engineer or master’s degree) in any field.

    These studies, which are very popular, are aimed at people who want to deepen their knowledge of topics related to the use of medicinal and pro-health plants in the prevention of diseases, with the assessment of their quality and marketing technology. The studies may be of interest to people who want to set up a company dealing in the production, storage, trading and processing of plant raw materials and the so-called “healthy food”. The subject matter of the studies may also be of interest to people with a hobby attitude, who want to broaden their knowledge about interesting plant species, healthy eating, food ingredients positively influencing the human condition and well-being.

    The program includes commodity science of pro-health and medicinal plants with elements of biology and cultivation methods, methods of storing, packaging and preserving plant raw materials, basics of dietetics and dietary supplementation, methods of assessing the quality of plant raw materials, aromatherapy, characteristics of herbal medicines and marketing rules, pharmacognosy, elements of pharmacology, anatomy and physiology human and food safety issues.

    Classes will be conducted on the campus of Warsaw University of Life Sciences – SGGW by specialists from the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and the Medical University of Warsaw. Practical classes will be conducted in laboratories and in the field, including the herbal company “Dary Natury” in Podlasie.

    The studies are aimed at people who have completed higher education in fields other than agriculture. The aim of the studies is to familiarize students with the most important issues of agricultural production, especially plant and animal production, as well as the economics and organization of farms. An important part of the study program are issues related to the functioning of farms under the Common Agricultural Policy of the EU and new directions in agricultural production, such as simplification of cultivation, energy crops, organic farming, precision farming.

    Classes (230 didactic hours) take place during two-day Saturday-Sunday meetings. They are conducted in the form of lectures and exercises by experienced academic teachers from various departments of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences and employees of the Department of Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. Students of the study also take field classes on farms of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Obory and Żelazna (plant production and farms of cattle, sheep and poultry), at the Institute of Horticulture in Skierniewice (vegetable and fruit growing) and at the Faculty Experimental Station in Skierniewice (including energy crops , fertilization effects).

    The studies end with the submission of the diploma thesis and final examination as well as the issuing of a certificate of completion of postgraduate studies.

    Pursuant to the applicable legal regulations, a graduate of postgraduate studies obtains agricultural qualifications, certified by a certificate of graduation, allowing him to purchase land and apply for funds from EU funds and programs supporting Polish agriculture.

    A short description of postgraduate studies

    The postgraduate study program “Zoopsychology – problems of dog behavior” includes subjects covering issues related to the biological and environmental foundations of dogs’ behavior, the etiology of behavioral disorders of various types and therapeutic methods enabling the improvement of the animal’s condition and its relationship with the guardian. The program provides participants with an extended knowledge of neurophysiology, phylogeny and ontogenesis of dogs ‘behavior, as well as the principles of diagnosis and identification of the causes of disorders, therapeutic methods and the possibility of adapting them to specific cases, depending on the clients’ needs, taking into account animal welfare, as well as evaluating the effects of therapy .

    The study program covers 10 subjects, the total number of teaching hours is 210, including 146 hours of lectures, 48 hours of seminars, 16 hours of practical classes.

    A graduate of postgraduate studies will gain a broad knowledge of dogs, their physical and behavioral development, proper conditions of maintenance, nutrition and training. He is prepared to act as a zoopsychologist in a shelter for homeless animals, a foundation dealing with homeless animals, as well as to conduct independent activity as a zoopsychologist – behaviorist working with dogs showing behavioral problems and their guardians, showing them methods of building proper dog-human relationships.

    The postgraduate studies “SAFETY AND QUALITY IN THE FOOD CHAIN” are aimed at preparing specialists in the field of quality and safety management in the agri-food chain “from farm to table”.

    Characteristics of studies:

    The aim of the studies is to educate professional staff prepared to provide independent nutritional and dietary advice.

    The studies are aimed at people dealing with issues in the field of dietetics, medicine and nutrition, as well as those who want to connect their future professional career with providing nutritional and dietary advice.

    Education at postgraduate studies includes subjects that will enable planning, conducting and documenting individual and group counseling, including nutritional education for various population groups. An additional advantage of these studies is taking into account the skills of an individual approach to the patient, including elements of psychology.

    Characteristics of studies:

    Postgraduate studies in Human nutrition and gastronomy are addressed to employees from the nutrition, food and gastronomy sectors or people who intend to pursue their professional careers in these areas, especially to teachers of post-primary industry schools training for work in these sectors of the economy, for business organizations and other operating in indicated sectors.

    The postgraduate study program Human nutrition and gastronomy includes subjects covering the issues of human nutrition and the relationship between nutrition and the functioning of the body, therefore the program provides students with extensive knowledge in this field, including dietetics, assessment of the nutritional status and nutrition of various population groups. With regard to gastronomy, the program covers catering technology, consumer service, commodity science of food with aspects of hygiene and health safety of food, as well as selected issues of the organization and functioning of food and catering enterprises.

    The curriculum also includes the subject of Teaching subject matter (60 hours) and work placement (60 hours), with a total number of ECTS points equal to 11, which according to the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of July 25, 2019. on the standard of education preparing for the teaching profession provides postgraduate students with the qualifications necessary to teach vocational subjects in the field of human nutrition and gastronomy in secondary schools. The place of apprenticeship are industry secondary schools or training centers. The basis for crediting the internship is the internship journal kept by the student and a positive opinion about the course of the internship from the place of its implementation.

    Due to the developing market of new technologies, it becomes necessary to acquire knowledge and the ability to use them in the organization. The business market as well as university websites are flooded with online trainings, which are only a “dump” of information, are often boring and do not build the commitment of their participants. Postgraduate studies “Remote education in the digital age” are to prepare graduates to independently create high-quality on-line training with the use of modern IT tools, JavaScript programming language, HTML5 language and CSS3 styles.     Characteristics of studies:
    The studies are intended for people who combine their careers in the IT industry with the administration of Linux systems. Their goal is to provide comprehensive and advanced knowledge of the administration of servers running under the Linux operating system, the implementation and maintenance of popular network services, as well as the configuration of high availability services, as well as building and managing clusters.     Characteristics of studies

    Postgraduate studies “Transport and Forwarding” are intended for graduates of master’s, engineering and bachelor’s studies in any discipline. Students will be acquainted with contemporary problems of transport and forwarding management in a company in terms of theory and practice. The relationship between logistics, transport and forwarding will be presented, as well as comprehensively all the most important issues that enable the functioning and competitiveness of an enterprise (entrepreneur) in the industry. The listener will get to know the basic information about logistics, transport and forwarding, legal regulations necessary in running a business, transport economics, organization of transport markets, commodity science and packaging. They will also gain detailed knowledge in the field of transport and forwarding organization as well as completing the documentation required for such activities.

    Completion of postgraduate studies allows you to obtain a CERTIFICATE OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE IN ROAD TRANSPORT for the transport of passengers and goods without passing a written test (pursuant to Article 38a of the Road Transport Act of September 26, 2001, uniform text: Journal of Laws of 2016, item . 1907, as amended).

    The Certificate of Professional Competence is issued by the Motor Transport Institute in Warsaw. Detailed information on the certification of carriers can be found on the Institute’s website (www.its.waw. Pl), tel. 22 43 85 215. The cost of issuing the certificate is PLN 300.

    The postgraduate study program “Transport and Forwarding” includes examination issues required for the theoretical part of the exam necessary to obtain the Certificate of Professional Competence. Persons completing postgraduate studies after submitting a study program may apply for an exemption from the theoretical and task-related parts.

    • persons running a business in the field of road transport of passengers and goods,
    • management staff and employees of transport companies intending to obtain authorization to manage transport – “Certificate of Professional Competence”,
    • employees of logistics units in the field of transport who want to supplement their practical experience with current knowledge,
    • specialists for logistics who manage transport and distribution,
    • people who want to work in positions related to transport and forwarding,
    • people for whom transport and forwarding can become an interesting professional challenge,
    • people interested in expanding their knowledge, self-improvement and improving their own qualifications.

    Characteristics of studies:

    Postgraduate Accounting Studies are a form of education intended for graduates of master’s, engineering and bachelor’s studies. The studies provide an opportunity to deepen the current knowledge and improve skills in accounting and finance, as well as to obtain new professional qualifications in the field of financial accounting. The studies include 230 hours of classes, divided into lectures and exercises. The teaching staff of the studies consists of academics from the Department of Finance of the Institute of Economics and Finance of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw, employees of institutions that define accounting and financial regulations, and practitioners with extensive professional and teaching experience (including statutory auditors). The studies are conducted with the participation of statutory auditors from the audit companies BDO Polska and Ecovis System Rewident. Students of studies receive teaching materials from the subjects they teach. The studies have been operating continuously since 2000, and their graduates are about 2,500 people in total. Classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Selected classes in accounting and finance are conducted on the Comarch ERP Optima system. There is no requirement to write a thesis during studies. Students of studies receive didactic materials containing the main content of individual subjects.

    The main assumption of the studies is for students to acquire practical skills in independent organization and keeping accounting records as well as preparing and analyzing financial statements, conducting cost accounting, as well as knowledge of tax and economic law.

    The program assumption is to acquire knowledge in the field of financial accounting, preparation of financial statements, international solutions in financial accounting, cost management in the enterprise, information on the tax system, human resources and payroll, as well as in the field of economic law.

    Characteristics of studies:

    Postgraduate Studies in Controlling and Management Accounting are a form of education intended for graduates of master’s, engineering and bachelor’s studies. The studies include 215 hours of teaching, divided into lectures and exercises. They create the opportunity to deepen the current knowledge and improve skills in the field of controlling, management accounting and finance in controlling the economic situation of enterprises, as well as obtaining new professional qualifications. The lecturers at the studies are employees of the Department of Finance of the Institute of Economics and Finance of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw, with extensive scientific and practical experience, as well as people from business practice who implement and use controlling and management accounting systems to control the company’s operations. The studios operate in Warsaw. Classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays. Selected exercises in controlling and economic analysis are conducted on the Comarch ERP XL system. There is no requirement to write a thesis during studies. Students of studies receive didactic materials containing the main content of individual subjects

    The main assumption of the studies is for students to acquire practical skills in identifying key issues in controlling, cost management, proposing a controlling scheme adapted to the specificity of the company and adopted accounting principles, proposing, based on the applicable accounting regulations, how to implement solutions for the functioning of an economic entity on the international market and defining the principles of collecting, analyzing and presenting management information regarding economic operations, finances and the economics of the economic unit.

    The main program assumption of the studies is that the students will be able to implement and ensure the functioning of the controlling system in the company, using modern IT tools, integrate the activities of individual organizational units and manage a team of employees involved in management accounting and controlling, moderate work aimed at improving efficiency, productivity and economic efficiency of the enterprise.

The studies provide an opportunity to broaden the knowledge and improve skills in tax and international accounting, as well as to obtain new professional qualifications. The studies include 220 hours of classes, divided into lectures and exercises. The lecturers are employees of the Department of Finance of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of Warsaw University of Life Sciences with extensive scientific and practical experience, as well as persons with statutory auditors’ qualifications, specializing in tax law and national and international accounting. The studies are conducted with the participation of statutory auditors from the audit companies BDO Polska and Ecovis System Rewident. The studies provide an opportunity to acquire new knowledge, expand the existing information and improve skills in the field of tax and international accounting. There is no requirement to write a thesis during studies. Students of studies receive didactic materials containing the main content of individual subjects.

    The main assumption of the studies is for students to acquire practical skills to use in business practice current knowledge in the field of defining the basic problem areas of corporate taxation, including income, indirect and property taxes, as well as identifying key issues in accounting according to IFRS, proposing a comprehensive strategy company tax, taking into account the available legal and institutional national and international solutions.

    The main curriculum assumption is that students should be able to correctly interpret and apply tax law regulations as part of the adopted tax strategy, interpret and apply IFRS regulations, calculate economic indicators resulting from balance sheet and result categories, implement comprehensive strategies for the development of an economic entity, properly keep books accounting, taking into account the provisions of national and international tax law, implement and ensure the functioning of the accounting system in the company according to IFRS, integrate the activities of individual organizational units and manage a team of employees involved in accounting.
