Dear All,
Join us during the 21st edition of the SGGW Days to be held on 19 and 20 May at the SGGW campus, Ursynów.
SGGW Days is a celebration of our entire academic community established by the decision of the SGGW Senate in 2000, to commemorate the first inauguration of the academic year after World War II. On 15 May 1945, at the SGGW seat located in Rakowiecka in Warsaw, the national anthem and Gaudeamus Igitur were played for the first time after the war, and the then Rector prof. Franciszek Staff delivered a speech to the students “to comfort the heart”.

Dzięki współpracy z naszymi partnerami temu możemy zaoferować Państwu wiele atrakcji, m.in. pokazy zwierząt hodowlanych, czy szkolenia psów i koni policyjnych.
SGGW Days usually begin on Monday with the SGGW Senate meeting during which a title of Doctor Honoris Causa is given to the outstanding figures representing the world of science. This year the award will be given to Prof. dr. hab. Leszek Żukowski, a long-time academic teacher, dean of the Faculty of Wood Technology, former President of the Board of the World Association of Home Army Soldiers, a significant figure in the history of our University, and country.
